About the Author

Scott Allsop studied history at the University of Cambridge and is the host of the HistoryPod.net iTunes Top-100 daily history podcast. As a teacher he has been nominated for the UK's national Teaching Awards and short-listed for the BBC/Historical Association History Teacher of the Year award.

His work has appeared in newspaper such as the Guardian and the Times Educational Supplement alongside education-specific publications such as the Training and Development Agency for Schools, the education pack for the First World War Centenary Battlefield Tours Programme, and the Historical Association's academic journal Teaching History. He also creates podcasts specifically for history students that are shared on MrAllsopHistory.com and a dedicated YouTube channel, and regularly top the iTunes Education charts.
